Vision Elliptical Trainer Models
Vision claims to have a very precise goal - to develop the most comfortable elliptical trainers possible. Most users of Vision elliptical trainers admit they really are very comfortable and smooth. The five models available for purchase seem to have been created to make working-out easier for anyone who steps on such a machine and expects to get some results in a short time and with minimum hassle possible. Here is a short presentation of each Vision model meant to point out their most important individual characteristics.
The entry level of the Vision line is X6000. It obviously lacks certain features that one might expect from a fitness item of the third millennium but it has a fairly long stride (19.75 inch) and articulating footsteps. When folded, it doesn't take much space and the stability is good compared to that of similar models. With motorised magnetic break resistance and weighing a bit less than 200 lbs., its frame and magnetic break are said to last for ever. However, the electronics and parts cannot be praised and the display is average; so is the price, which for some people is a plus. The Vision X6100 model is about 50% more expensive than its 'predecessor' but it doesn't have a better stride. A Poly V-belt drive system, permanent magnet resistance, the same weight, average smoothness and stability are some of its features. This model has a better display and its 16 resistance levels make it more desirable. The nice solid design and the various programmes included get a high rating from regular users.
The full feature models of the X6000 series are X6200 and X6200 HRT. The only difference between the two is the wireless heart rate control present in the latter. They both include a unique feature called Sprint 8. There are nine programmes and a programmable motor which operates the resistance levels. The smooth elliptical motion is ensured by the heavy 24-lb- flywheel. The stride is identical to that of the previously-presented models and the machines are very easy to fold and quite space-saving. On the whole, they are stable and solid elliptical trainers which sell very well even today. The price is rather high compared to similar productions from other brands, though.
The commercial grade model of the series is the Vision X6600 HRT. Quite expensive at this performance level, as many people say, the model has a big number of fans who claim it holds up very well in their homes. Its flat screen TV console is cable ready for internet connection. The machine weighs 287 lbs. and is quite stable. It has a good selection of programmes, heart rate control and a heavy flywheel; a reverse elliptical stride and articulating foot pedals are two other features present in this model. The display is considered to be excellent, the best in all the Vision models and so is stability. People who use it say it is worth the money and would never change it for another.
